Our Technique
These pictures illustrate a technique that RKR employs when dealing with areas whose stratigraphic correlation is difficult. This technique allows a geologist to follow a correlation in any direction and over a wide area in a short amount of time. RKR has successfully used this technique to understand the limits for the various formations of the Hunton Group, to observe the progadational depositional geometry of the Mississippian, the potential diagenetic alteration of the dolomites of the Arbuckle during Middle to Late Pennsylvanian, the building up stratigraphic deposition of the Cherokean fluvial channel systems versus conventional cut and fill depositional concepts, and the breakdown of the Spiro into four distinguishable units in the Arkoma Basin.
